SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED

This degree has a strong component in aeronautical sciences, namely with regard to maintenance engineering, piloting and flight operations, which provides future graduates with a wide range of options in the field of aviation. At the end of the course, students will be properly trained to develop the skills acquired in the following areas:

+ Air transport;
+ Aircraft maintenance;
+ Airworthiness management;
+ Airport infrastructures;
+ Aeronautical authorities;
+ Training;
+ Auditing;
+ Research;

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

The training provided is advanced (with a strong component in Engineering Sciences) and goes across several fields (related to aircraft maintenance, airline pilot and flight operations activities) and aims to provide students with solid knowledge on aircrafts, their systems and components, as well as legal requirements necessary for the commercial aviation activity. In that respect, the course provides students with the essential knowledge for an effective and competent integration in the aviation sector, in aircraft maintenance in particular, and flight operations and air transport in general.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This degree aims to qualify and specialize current and future technicians of companies and entities in the aviation sector, namely, aeronautical maintenance, air transport and flight operations, within the context of technical, audit, airworthiness control, technical administration and/or management functions.
