ISEC Lisboa has recently added to its educational offer two new graduate degrees and one short cyle! The three new options are part of emerging and innovative study areas, which are constantly developing and therefore guarantee a high employability rate.
The Degree in Data Science and Visualization provides a solid training in the fundamental areas of data science and information visualisation, responding to the growing need for professionals trained in the processing, analysis and understanding of complex information, combined with skills from emerging areas such as pattern extraction, software engineering and artificial intelligence.
The Degree in Aeronautical and Space Sciences offers a strong background in the basic sciences of aeronautics and space, which prepares students for a wide range of career choices in the aeronautics and space sector. This degree programme has 3 variants: Space and Defence; Aeronautical Manufacturing and Maintenance; Aircraft Operation.
The Short Cyle in Technology and Innovation Management aims to develop or enhance holistic competences related to product (goods or services) and process innovation. The course includes a comprehensive curriculum that integrates the main dimensions required for business innovation operations.
The 3 new courses also have strong partnerships with the business community in each of the sectors in which they are organised.
The courses are set to open in the next academic year 2023/24 and the applications are open!

ISEC Lisboa has partnered with COP (Parish Organizing Comittee) from Alto do Lumiar to be one of the reception center to the pilgrim during World Youth Day Lisbon 2023 (WYD).
From july 30 to august 8, the Academic Campus of Lumiar, in Lisbon, will welcome and host 460 pilgrims who need a place to stay overnight and have breakfast before joining the thousands of pilgrims who will be part of this world event
This international gathering takes place every two, three or four years in a major city chosen by the Pope. To date, there have been 14 WYD editions on four continentes and seven of these have been held in Europe.
Lisbon was the city chosen by Pope Francis to held this year’s edition of WYD which will happen from august 2nd to august 6th.

Today we live in an atypical social and public health situation, which demands from each one of us responsibility and civility to fight the new coronavirus. The Directorate-General of Health advises us to take social distancing measures, which can often lead to isolation.
In the case of ISEC Lisboa, we know that the changes of these times have taken many to their homes, whether students in distance-learning or teachers and employees in telecommuting. The situation of isolation is crucial to stop the chain of transmission of this virus, but it can also be a time of loneliness and doubts.
In order to facilitate the period of isolation that we are in, whether voluntary or imposed, GAP proposes some strategies to deal with this situation:

Student Residence at Lumiar Academic Campus - Lisbon
All rooms have AC, a small fridge (shared by the room users), individual desk and wardrobe. 24 hr access to the room. Access to a multi-purpose room with Cable TV, exclusive to residence users. Small shared kitchenette available to prepare light meals (equipped w/ microwave and freezer, shared by the residence users – no oven or stove for security reasons). Meals are available in the Campus from Monday to Saturday (Sunday also, upon request).
All rates are per person and include accomodation, water, electricity, High-speed Internet (RJ45 port), Exclusive Wi-Fi for residence users (only in the residence area but a Campus Wi-Fi network is also available), VAT, weekly room cleaning with exchange of bed linen and towels, and daily cleaning of the common areas (except weekends and holidays).
