SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED

Design, plan and develop solutions using the principles and practices of design and multimedia technologies, as well as techniques for recording, processing and broadcasting video and cinema.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Record and edit still image and animation; record, edit and process sound. Convert image and sound files; operate image and sound recording equipment indoors and outdoors; operate continuous and strobe lighting equipment indoors and outdoors; pre-produce, produce and post-produce audiovisual content for various media; apply optimization strategies for interface design in the construction of multimedia supports; create and edit text, graphics and bitmap and vector images, using specific computer programs; build the architecture of webpages using page layout computer programs; model and animate 2D and 3D objects for audiovisual and multimedia applications; program multimedia applications using standard tools and technologies; design and/or perform events with light, image and sound; design scripts and storyboards for audiovisual and multimedia products; design, produce and develop 2D and 3D multimedia animation projects; plan, design and develop websites; plan, design and develop multimedia products.

TARGET AUDIENCE

+ Students who have completed secondary school (whichever path, with or without national exams)
+ Students over 23 years old (23+ access regime)
+ Students who hold a CET (Technology Specialization Course) diploma
+ Students with Higher Education diplomas (vocational retraining)

MAIN EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Senior technicians with technical, critical and creative skills in the audiovisual and multimedia domains, capable of designing, planning and developing solutions using the principles and practices of design and multimedia technologies, as well as techniques for recording, processing and broadcasting video and cinema.
