According to Decree-Law No. 43/2007, of 22 February, the Master's Degree in Qualification for Teaching is an essential training stage for obtaining the professional qualification title, namely for teaching in childhood education.
The aim of this training is for the future Master in Preschool Education to develop not only a set of specific skills that will allow direct intervention with children in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the teaching-learning process, but also broader skills that foster active participation in institutional life, for example, in school management and the relation to the various socio-educational actors.
