    Maria Inês Lourenço é professora (em várias unidades curriculares nas áreas do Design e da Educação) no ISEC Lisboa -, investigadora no CIAUD da FAUL e no TGRAF do ISEC Lisboa.

    É Doutorada em Design pela Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade de Lisboa, mestre em Artes Visuais pelo IADE, mestre em Design e Cultura Visual pelo IADE, licenciada em Design - Produção Visual pelo IADE. Ensina e investiga na área das Artes e Humanidades, com enfoque no Design.

COMPETENCIES TO BE DEVELOPED

The curriculum is based on a set of fundamental and common competencies in the areas of written and visual communication, serving as an axis where knowledge, skills, and behaviours intersect in the domains of design, audio-visual production, and multimedia. The result of the combination of these areas - which are reinforced throughout the curriculum - is deemed necessary for the professional profile of global autonomy in the field of content production, editing, and management. This relationship becomes evident in integrated projects that aggregate knowledge from various areas, providing opportunities for consolidating learning and understanding their interrelation.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

The Bachelor's Degree in Global Communication aims to provide students with cross-cutting knowledge in the areas of Communication and digital platforms through Design and Multimedia. It also aims to ensure autonomy in content editing and written communication, through the development of practical and theoretical skills necessary for professional activities in various areas of new media.

Students will be able to:

  • Develop, plan, and implement integrated communication strategies.;
  • Identify audiences and adapt messages for different cultures;
  • Design and globally manage online presences on digital platforms and social networks for products, services, and organizations;
  • Cover and edit news and events.;
  • Create content and materialize informative graphic objects.;
  • Adapt communication strategies to multiple platforms and project and implement communication projects.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This bachelor's degree is aimed at society as a whole, specifically targeting students who have completed secondary education, individuals over 23 years old, graduates of Technological Specialization Courses (CET), graduates of Higher Technical Professional Courses (CTeSP), and graduates with other bachelor's degrees whose professional situation would benefit from in-depth knowledge in this area.

MAIN PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Students will gain a global understanding of the communication needs of a SME, whether through strategy definition, resource development, or solution implementation.

The interdisciplinary nature of the degree will enable students to pursue professional activities in the following areas:

  • Publishing houses;
  • Entertainment industry;
  • Digital events and brand activation;

EQUIPMENT AND DIDACTIC MATERIALS

Several computer labs equipped with Apple iMac 21" and HP All-in-one 24". The equipment is equipped with various software [Adobe and Office] suitable for content editing and management (text and image). Photography laboratory and soundproof studio, with capacity and features for audio and video capture, editing, and production.
