Welcome to the ISEC Student Ombudsman page!

The Student Ombudsman is responsible for defending and promoting the legitimate rights and interests of ISEC students.

When the Ombudsman becomes aware of something that puts those legitimate rights and interests at risk, either through student communication or any other credible mean, he seeks ways to protect them through mediation and informal negotiation with those involved and to recommend necessary changes to improve services.

The Student Ombudsman is a non-administrative, non-deliberative, non-executive and non-disciplinary body. It performs its functions with total independence with the government bodies and other ISEC bodies and services in order to achieve its purposes.

The Student Ombudsmen does not replace Student Association nor ISEC’s governing bodies or services. It is a body provided in ISEC Statutes that intends to, among other things, raise students’ awareness of the right to receive a quality, efficient and respectful service and to encourage students to participate and personally engage in the improvement of this service as well.

ISEC students can use Ombudsman services, booking face-to-face interviews, by letter, or sending emails with complaints, suggestions, mediation requests, positive assessments, etc.
If you think you have a matter that needs the help of the Ombudsman, please contact the Student Ombudsman in person, by letter, email or phone (217 541 310) during the working hours, requesting call forwarding.
