OBJECTIVES

The Postgraduate course aims to qualify for the exercise of organization/promotion functions in the School Library, particularly within the scope of the current functions of the Teacher Librarian.

 

SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED:

The Course aims to develop critical analysis, research, intervention, training, organization and evaluation skills related to the School Library, including:

  • Mastery of the sociological, pedagogical and psychological foundations of global educational and teaching, in particular.
  • Mastery of the scientific and pedagogical foundations related to the area.
  • Strengthen the necessary interaction between teachers and new information and communication technologies.
  • Promote reading habits and the pleasure of reading among children and young people.
  • Promote autonomy when using information and technologies.
  • Stimulate the enrichment of the educational community in cultural, technological, artistic and civic terms.

 

TARGET AUDIENCE:

  • Librarian teachers.
  • Members of school libraries teams.
  • Teachers with interests in the area of ​​School Libraries.
  • Graduates from any disciplinary area.
