SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED

This Master's Degree aims to qualify and specialize Senior Occupational Safety Technicians, within the framework of the performance of management and/or administrative functions in public or private entities.

The training provided is advanced and cuts across different fields pertaining to the activity concerning Occupational Safety and Health, and aims at complementary and comprehensive knowledge and management skills, with a view to optimizing operational performance in a business environment, without neglecting the necessary aspect of research and development.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Safety, as an objective to be pursued, is a global, systemic and dynamic process. Addressing Safety effectively and efficiently means managing it. The Safety Management process is essential for the attainment of practical risk minimization results. This Master's Degree aims to provide students with the skills to: manage, guide and coordinate high-responsibility actions in the national economic panorama; develop studies, projects and scientific research in this field, producing knowledge both in terms of theoretical and basic conceptual training, both with regard to the connection with current practical cases and with the experience of the problems they will experience as professionals, offering an overall and comprehensive view of the themes, trends and evolution of OSH, while developing specific lines of thought and action aimed at the concrete resolution of the problems that, in the organizational framework, are posed to the management of OSH.

TARGET AUDIENCE

+ Bachelors in Occupational Safety Engineering and Occupational Hygiene and Safety
+ Higher Education Graduates in related fields: Holders of the Professional Title of Senior Occupational Safety Technician, Level VI (ACT)
+ Holders of a relevant professional curriculum in the area (CTC)
+ Graduates from foreign Higher Education Institutions with curricula considered equivalent to the required national ones (CTC)
